Hi Colin, there isn't any .ini option set up for that, but it is possible to make that happen by modifying the command script for the circle command.

I've attached a version that should do that - copy the attached Circle.js file over top of the original version (maybe rename the original something like Circle_bak.js so you can restore it later if needed for some reason) inside of the \commands sub-folder inside the MoI's main installation folder and then when you draw a circle it should have the seam point at the south location like I think you want.

Let me know if that does what you want - it won't have any effect though if you have enabled the "vertical" option in the circle command, handling that option would be somewhat more complicated, let me know if you need that option handled too.

Hi Michael,

Thanks very much for that, did a quick test & works perfectly.
Just what I was after.
At present I rarely have to use the "Vertical" option, but I'll keep that in mind should the need arise.

regards Colin

Hi Michael,

Also FWIW...
Thought I'd better double check to see how the script "RingCircle" produced it's Circle curve seam.
It's seam is also produced at the side, as in the Default Circle curves position.

So I'm wondering what section of the new Circle script would I need to copy & paste part into the existing RingCircle script?
Or is this something that'd be better off leaving for you to do??

regards Colin

Hi Colin, for RingCircle it involves modifying the lines where the X axis and Y axis are set - I've attached a modified version of RingCircle that has that modification in it so it will put the seam in the south location as well.

This is using the version of RingCircle that you posted a while ago where it has the British sizes at the top.
