Hi Ruurd, make sure you're not running any kind of modified or "cracked" version of MoI - that's currently the only kind of situation that I know of where you can run into this problem.

If you're not running a cracked version then maybe your installed version has become corrupted or something, try re-installing it and if you send me an e-mail at moi@moi3d.com with your license key in it (or the name and e-mail address that you ordered with) I can send you a new installer to make sure your installer is not corrupted somehow.

But I'm probably mistaken about you running a cracked copy, because surely you wouldn't post questions in a program's official forum while you're trying to run a cracked version of it, right?

Hi Ruurd, I don't currently know of how that problem could happen with the trial version, but that exact problem does frequently happen with cracked versions though.

You might try updating your video driver - it's not uncommon for video drivers to have bugs in them and they can sometimes make for some unpredictable behavior.

Try going directly to your video card manufacturer's web site and downloading their latest drivers and see if that helps stabilize things.

If that doesn't help then try temporarily disabling any kind of software that you might be using that might hook into programs, stuff like virus checkers, anti-spyware stuff, or stuff like that to see if some interaction with that software is causing a problem.
