Converting 3DS + OBJ to MoI 3DM using "Mesh To Solid"

The other night I ran across a utility 3D file conversion program from SYCODE called "Mesh To Solid." This is NOT the plugin versions, it is a standalone app. Downloadable trial online, and priced at $195 this immediately drew my attention.

Details and Functional Demo online at the following URL:
http://www.sycode.com/products/mesh_to_solid/index.htm

Related description from their site:

"Mesh To Solid can read mesh objects from the following file formats:
Rhinoceros files (*.3dm)
3D Studio files (*.3ds)
Stereolithography files (*.stl)
Wavefront files (*.obj)"

"Mesh To Solid saves solid data in the following file formats:
ACIS files (*.sat)
Rhinoceros files (*.3dm)"

I have downloaded the 10 day/10 use Trial Demo but can barely find the time to write this post let alone test that! So, my question to you all is:

Has anyone here ALREADY tried SYCODE's standalone "Mesh To Solid" for importing meshes into MoI's 3dm format with any degree of success?

Thank you for the link, but unfortunately it is quite expensive for me right now. I hope to one day get mesh objects into MoI, specifically for reference purposes. For example, I have a character I am sculpting in Mudbox, but I would love to create his armor in MoI using his mesh as a reference.

It may be possible to use something to convert the edges of a mesh like that into line segments that are then saved out as curves to a .3dm or .iges file.... MoI could then read in those lines and they could be used as a guide.

This could work for example by using ExtractMeshEdges in Rhino - I think there is some way to do it in Amapi as well.
