I did a search and didn't find this topic of any detail. Once we have given 3D form be it solid or surface, is there a clipping or cross section command to see this form in section? I'm happy if it was static hatch, or a live clipping plane?

Hi Jason, there isn't any kind of clipping plane display mode, but it is possible to generate section curve objects.

You can do that by drawing a line, then replicating that line using Transform > Array > Dir so that you have a number of parallel line segments, and then use the Construct > Curve > Project command to project those lines onto the object, that will result in curves that are planar sections of the object.

Also another way is if you create a plane object that cuts through your object, and then replicate that, then use the Construct > Curve > Isect command to intersect those planes and your object, giving back the curves of intersection.
