So you mean having every possible thing that you could do to the curve be on a pop-up menu?
The issue with that is that the popup would be huge, it would be kind of like having the whole side pane pop up right in the middle of your screen.
It's kind of a general design guideline for MoI to try and keep the modeling area free of things that get in your way from seeing the actual model - by putting the UI on the side pane it tends to help keep stuff from cluttering up the actual model view.
One thing that could be good in the future though would be to have an option for some kind of customizable pop-up which you could then populate with just the particular commands that you liked to use the most often. That would keep it a lot more in control than trying to put every possible action on a popup. Would this kind of a thing handle what you were thinking of here?
