The lesson learned is not to always take 3D art so seriously!

I always strive for modeling perfection and complete realism but as shown by this artist in his other videos, simple primitives patched together can tell a great story (creasing and all) just as much as photo realistic work.

His 2010 reels were nice also - I really enjoyed a lot of the work he has done.

That was hilarious - my favorite was the huge chain of nodes to generate the same cube out the other end.
