I have used sweep on a profile " L ".
Why the profile has not continued along the angle?
In practice the profile to form of L has been considered as two single profiles, even if I had united them with boolean union

It's because it will involve extra work on my part to do the calculations for mitering corners like this. I do expect to add this eventually but it will take a while.

The sweeps have to be extended and intersected with each other for this to work as expected. In the meantime it treats a multi-segment rail curve as if it was individual segments.

For now, you can either make the extended lines and trim things back manually, or use an alternative construction technique - here is a thread that talks about this: http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=297.1

I used the forum search. A couple of tricks - by default it only searches back 1 month, this can be changed in the Posted from: near the bottom of the search options (someday I will try to change this).

Then the other trick is I try to remember a particular word that might be unique that message - in this case I remembered mentioning "miter", so I searched on that.
