Hi Michael,

Not at the moment, but I plan on adding this pretty soon. I've been talking with someone from 3DConnexion, and they have some new driver software that will be ready on the 15th of next month, which is supposed to make it a bit easier to support these devices.

So I'll probably give it a go around then.

I had kind of ignored these devices for a while, but now that they have some more affordable models they seem a lot more interesting to me.

Hi All,

I remember a while back downloading (I think it was a .dll file) for using a 3D space ball or mouse with MoI. I just got a new computer at work, and cannot use the space ball with MoI. Does anyone else remember this?

Thanks,

Michael T.

Hi Dave, if you happen to have one of the "Space ball" models from 3DConnexion (which is an older version of their devices from a few years ago), then those are the ones that need 3DConnexion's newer generation driver layer installed for it to work with MoI.

That's the one attached to that previous message that Pilou posted:
http://moi3d.com/forum/messages.php?webtag=MOI&msg=816.5

If you have any of their newer generation devices from the past few years, like the Space Navigator or Space Explorer, then you don't need to do anything extra, the drivers that come with those ones are already using their newer interface model and will work directly with MoI.
