Microsoft Wheel Mouse

Now that I practiced with MoI a bit more, I think I am sold on the idea that it will be my companion software to TurboCAD. It has taken a bit of work to get my head wrapped around drawing a new way but I think I am slowly adapting. The text on the images says it all.

Nice job on the mouse Don!

Thinking about turning it into a tutorial ?

I always see, not only people who are new to the 3d world also people trying out a new 3d software always have a go at modelling the good ol' mouse, I guess it's because it's the direct link in interacting with our computer and being in our hand when we decide what to try and model.

It's like when we have a go at programming our first bit of code to get 'Hello World' to pop up, the 3d modelling equivalent is that mouse :)

Cheers
~Danny~

Hi Eric,

I am using TurboCAD Pro V17. I have used TC since later version 8 and have kept up with each version since. I have been a beta tester since V14, so the price has been right. :-)

Thanks Danny,

It is a bit early to be thinking about writing MoI tutorials, but I am not opposed to it. Time will tell, but now that I am feeling more comfortable with MoI I will certainly be putting more effort into it.

I think your reasoning behind drawing the mouse is right on. It is handy and a deceptively simple construct.

Thanks Don ...
TurboCAD has always looked pretty good to me but when I gave up AutoCad after more that 20 years I chose ProgeCAD as my alternate and it does do a pretty good job for me when I have to produce a .dwg file and now I can't see putting out the money for TurboCAD Pro. It is necessary to move on sometimes so I'll keep thinking about the best choice.
MoI is my present favorite for modeling. A great little program.
cheers,
eric
