Hi Niko, normally you can just send me an e-mail at moi@moi3d.com for things like this, that way you won't have to post your e-mail address out in the public forum.

I've sent you an e-mail reply - if you can send me back your full name or the original e-mail address that you used to order with, that would make it possible for me to look up your v1 license key and send that back to you.

Also if you have v1 still installed on your computer, you can find your v1 license key which is saved to a text file in this location:

(on Windows XP):
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Moi\moi_v1_license.key

(on Windows Vista or 7):
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Moi\moi_v1_license.key

Just open that file with notepad and you will then see your license key.

- Michael

ok
I couldn't find the app data folder, but I did find a roaming file through search and in it there's a moi_v1_license.key file that I cannot open.
I have windows 7 installed on my Macpro (the same on my laptop through paralells) and Im not really that familiar with Windblows (it really sucks) because I only had it to open Moi.

Where the hell is that damn notepad...it doesn't even come up with a search.....AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH..

EDIT: Ok I got it....In folder options the "show hidden files must be on", so I finally retrieved the serial number..... BUT..... I still cannot find notepad believe it or not.......WINDOWS IS A BUNCH OF VILE CRAP!!!!
MICHAEL PLEASE PLEASE BRING MOI TO OSX!!

Hi Niko, so you're almost there - to run notepad, you can push the Start button in the lower-left corner of the Windows desktop, and then in the search box that's near the bottom there type in notepad and push Enter and it will launch.

You can also find it by browsing under the start menu, go to something like All programs > Accessories > Notepad.

Once you've got notepad open, you can use the File > Open command from its menu to load in the moi_v1_license.key file and then you'll see your license key.

Please let me know if you are still stuck.

I was refering to windows 7.
In osx all your applications are within one click including the text editor. They're not hidden and no search needs to be performed!!!

Anyways thanks Michael, I have successsfully purchased V2, and I will painfully tolerate Windblows just to run your awesome program!!

WHats this "app" file type extension?? I've never heard of one of those... And where is this "application folder"??? My computer doesnt have one of those!!! All my stuff is in a "start menu"....ANd on my windows 7 box, I dont even have to know where anything is! My search utility doubles as a "command interpreter" and will launch any program I want!!
