Exporting to Illustrator with Layers?

I decided to do a 2d school project in MOI instead of autocad. I've setup colors inside MOI yet when I export to illustrator in AI format, the entire drawing is coming in as one layer...

Is there any sort of workaround or something that I might be missing??

Thanks!!!!!!!

I would also support layer separation feature if possible (for Illustrator)

Hi Rado, currently MoI's AI export is pretty basic and does not write colors or layer assignments, but that is something that I want to work on in the future.

One possible workaround might be to open your 3DM model in Rhino and export to AI from there, I think it might support writing out layers.

A MoI workaround could be to use "Export, and just select each style and export to a file one by one, then import them to AI's layers as need... (I guess depending on how many styles you have...) Temporary since he said it will be added.
