Hi

I extracted some curves with Moi and wanted to create a surface with planar surface creation. the curves were joined but not closed. Is there an easy way to find the point where the curve needs to close.

Hi 3dcnc, check out this previous post:
http://moi3d.com/forum/messages.php?webtag=MOI&msg=2888.11

That has a plug-in that make a new command in MoI called MarkOpenCurveStart , and when you set that up on a keyboard shortcut it will create a point object to mark the starting endpoint of an open curve.

Thank you . for the tip.

I don't know if this is possible, but it might be useful for the surface command to automatically put a point at the open section of an open curve if the planar command fails, so you can quickly fix the problem. (just a thought)
