Foreground Reference Image Utility

I found this free Windows utility that enables a FOREGROUND reference image -- as opposed to a background image.

It's not so much needed in MoI, but useful for apps that don't provide for reference images.

It pops up a form that you can load an image into. You can zoom it and place it anywhere you want over your app.

When you hit the "Overlay" button, the screen goes into a pass-though mode, so for example you can model as though the screen is not there. You see the image, but it doesn't affect your mouse actions.

It worked with all my graphics, modeling, and render programs - It is independent of the app.

Notes:

Make sure you hit the Overlay button on the utility, otherwise your mouse commands won't pass through to the app underneath.

Hit F1 to bring window back to focus so you can close it

Very cool Ed!!!! I tried this with another Application I use and had an issue that Used to be in Camtasia Studio where the apps interface would tie into the screens refresh rate...If I disable Hardware acceleration, it works great... I'm going to contact Mark to see if he knows anything about this or if he is activly developing this for these types of situation...

I am presenting this to some others that use this same other application I am refering to. I feel they could benefit from this helper tool...

Thanks,
Burr

Nice. Free is good! I paid a few quid for this similar application. It has a bit more functionality, multiple images, screen grabs, etc.
