Is there a plugin directly for moi ?

I have meant to give Octane a try for a while now, hope to get around it sometime soon.

It's a standalone so no plugin needed if you have OBJ or Collada files formats;)
But you have some Plugins inside if you want for some applications :)

Also there will be a Rhino plugin coming in a few weeks. Will only export geometry and camera though. Seems to me it's not much different than using OBJ... Anybody know how this compares to the plugins of other apps mentioned?

We have developed a standard plug-in specification so that the plug-in will function the same in every application.

Currently, the only benefit of creating a plug-in for MOI3D would be to transfer the camera position (which can be manually entered from MOI3D into Octane.)

The plug-in's really assist in creating animations and re-exporting all the geometry on each frame. I simply just export from MOI3D as OBJ and then import it into Octane. I usually find that I get better camera angles when exploring the scene in Octane than I do in a modeling view port anyway.
