Hi guys !

Thank you much Pilou and you Micheal for the tips and links.

Pilou, don't worry I'm not from corsica :P I just bought a knife over there during a trip (a nice trip I must say, my wife say it's the nicest country in the world, and she know what she's talking about ! :)

for the curious, here the model I did today as a learning exercice (some parts like the handle are wrongs but who cares) :

Thank you (PILOU) for this short cut
script:moi.geometryDatabase.invertSelection(); moi.geometryDatabase.hide(); moi.geometryDatabase.selectAll();
I just wander if there is anyway to allow this script to return me to my last scene I mean right now he hid the select object and this is great after I finish working on this object I need this script to show only what he hide because now he show every thing I am hiding I hope you get what I mean my English not good sorry :(

Hi albehany, you can use the Isolate function of the Edit > Hide button to do that, it's available by right-clicking on the Edit > Hide button.

The first time you use it, it will keep the selected objects visible and hide all others but retain a memory of how things were. Then when you want to return right click on it again and it will restore everything to its pre-isolated state.

If you want to set up a keyboard shortcut for it, put in the following for the "Command" part of the shortcut key:

script: moi.geometryDatabase.isolate();
