Hi Steve, thanks for reporting the crash, I can repeat it over here as well.

It appears to be a bug somewhere in the function that determines if a curve is on one of the faces of a solid or not, I'll investigate it some more soon.

Hi Steve, thanks to your report I was able to track down this bug.

It was actually a bug in the geometry library that was triggered by a change in MoI since the Dec-19-2009 v2 beta, which involves reparameterizing surfaces that have fairly large parameter space domains, since large domain values do not work well with some other areas of Solids++.

I've been able to fix it with a minimal risk change, that just involves removing some cached data that was sticking around when it was not supposed to.

I've attached a patch that can be used to update the May-5-2010 v2 beta to have the fix in it.

To apply the patch, close any running instances of MoI, then unzip the attached TrimPatch.zip file into the May-5-2010 v2 beta's main installation folder, then run the update.cmd batch file.

Please let me know if you run into this crash again after the patch is applied.

Thanks very much for the bug report!

- Michael

EDIT: Patch for old beta removed
