Hi Tharso, hmm that is a strange one.

MoI does use the Internet Explorer engine to display its UI there that is messed up, so if your system has a problem with IE that could cause some strange results.

You might try doing a reset of IE settings as mentioned in this blog post:
http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/12/628499.aspx

Or also try the batch file posted here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=3326.4

Also if you have recently installed any kind of software that hooks into the system at a low level and monitors or alters stuff, like a virus or spyware checker, or something that changes the appearance of how things are drawn or anything like that, try disabling it.

Also do you see the same problem with MoI version 1.1 ? If you have version 1.0, make sure to apply the 1.1 update patch from here: http://moi3d.com/download.htm .

Seems like you may possibly have a problem with the system Javascript interpreter not working.

One other thing you can try in addition to the above is to re-register it. To do that open up a command prompt (or the Start > Run dialog) and type in this command:

regsvr32 jscript.dll

Hi Tharso,

No, what you are showing does not look like a video driver problem, what you have there looks like some part of your system relating to Internet Explorer or the JScript engine is not working properly on your machine.

Did you try disabling any security software that you are currently running? It could be possible that something like an anti-spyware software would disable scripting.

Also try doing a reset of IE settings using the Reset button under the system Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced tab, as shown in this blog post:
http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/12/628499.aspx

You have to rename the file to end with a .bat file extension.

This may be confusing if you have the display of file extensions turned off which is the default in Windows, you can turn it on with the option described here:
http://askabouttech.com/how-to-show-file-extension-in-windows-7/

If none of those work you may need to re-install Windows so the parts that MoI depends are in working order.
