Hi Pilou, there is not currently any method set up to make control points selection available to scripts, so there is no way to make a script to do that for v2.

That is something that I could add in pretty easily in v3 though.

Modo has a cool version for this, called 'select next'.

So basically, if you select the 1st and the 3rd point on a cirlce, 'select next' will select the 5th, 7, 9 etc
Of course it works for any kind of interval, and any kind of selection type (edges, poly) ... but that probably doesn't really make sence for nurbs topology.

Michael, do you have some kind of internal arrangement of priorities for the wishlist? I notice for example that "improved fillets" crop up several times in the wishlist, although the exact nature of the improvement depends on the person making the suggestion. So better fillets looks like an obvious candidate, but perhaps there are technical reasons for giving e.g. variable radius fillets a lower priority. Have you any idea at this point what will take precedence in v3 or is it still too early to say? (Personally I am still struggling to get to grips with what v2 has to offer.)

Hi Dan,

Nothing really formalized... It depends on a variety of things though, including technical feasibility / technical difficulty level.

Also things that require a lot of new UI tend to take a lot longer since I'm really careful about the UI design process with MoI.

Conversely, if the thing being requested makes an existing command more powerful without having much UI impact, that tends to increase the priority quite a bit.

Also if I get the sense that it would impact a lot of people then that can increase the priority as well.

It's really too early yet to be able to tell anything about v3 priorities yet.

I have a lot of ideas, but in many cases I actually need to do some experimentation first before even really knowing the level of technical difficulty.

I love this - and would love to see something similar in MoI
