Here is a script for "setting" some angles.

script:moi.ui.mainWindow.viewpanel.getViewport('3D').setAngles( 90, 0 );

Make yourself 3 or 4 views and run them when needed.

I thought I remembered having one that would "capture" the current angle but couldnt find it. If it is possible to capture it Michael, perhaps a refreshed "3d viewport" get camera location?

Hi Pilou, there is nothing currently for saving a view as a "named view" to the file, but that is on the wishlist to add in for the future.

It is possible to do some other kinds of things with scripts, like have a script on a shortcut key that will set the view to one particular angle when you push it, that's the one that Burr is showing there.

Also the other script that Burr is mentioning is here:

That will let you set up a shortcut key that takes a snapsnot of the current view and puts it on a memorized "stack", and then you can step through them later, that may help if you're trying to make something like an animated GIF. The snapshots will only be active for the current modeling session though and do not get saved.
