Hi TwinSnakes, yeah the "absolute positioning" mode of the tablet can take some time to get used to if you have spent a really long time using the mouse.

A tablet will tend to be particularly nice for someone who has spent a lot of time drawing with a regular pen or pencil since it will have a more familiar feel in the hand.

Hi TwinSnakes,

I agree. I have been using the Wacom Bamboo Fun pad for a couple of years with MoI. I love it!

Hi TwinSnakes,

Don't know what kind of Wacom you have but have my Intuos 3 set to 'mouse' mode.

I then can 'drag' the cursor across the screen in a mouse like way. This is great for me as I have developed RSI in my shoulder and it saves me moving the arm around too much across my dual screens.

So if you really can't get used to the absolute (pen) mode then try mouse mode.

Regards
Tony
