Hi Ralf,

"We expect to release a beta version in January 2010".>>>>>

Yeah thats Hypershots old licensed engine. MAYBE they will get a gui for it and I already own it now anyway. Bunkspeed has licensed a NEW engine that I am excited about. This engine is what I will upgrade to.

Hey D,
There was a tiny wrinkle mixed into that part. All owners on "Maintenance" will get the free one. I did the one time purchase with no maint :(

There will probably be a big push of some kind to get back in the game. Hold your cards close and pounce when they spit it out!

Funny that Burr, seems to be some conflicting statements, what does this mean?

quote:
We are dedicated to taking care of our loyal customers who have supported us and our technology over the years. Every single owner of HyperShot will get our new generation of software to be announced soon, absolutely free. Any of you who pre-paid for upgrade to what was to be HyperShot 2010, will get our new product and also will have a choice of getting our innovative animation tool HyperMove or a full refund. Any customers who purchased our HyperShot Pro and purchased maintenance, we will extend the maintenance contract for additional year no charge. If you have HyperShot, your working software will not be affected in any way and our new generation will be compatible with your existing HyperShot files.

Hi Danny,
I was reading the quote from the Bunkspeed Web site. It reads:

>>>The next generation of Bunkspeed SHOT™ fully integrated with iray® rendering technology will be available starting within the second quarter of 2010 and will be made available as a free 30 day trial, an upgrade to all current Bunkspeed HyperShot customers, and no charge to all those on maintenance or pre order.>>>>

I think you need to really read th quote you posted and notice how the statement is made....THEN, the qualifier is made to match the plan..

Salesman. Have a way to word it so it sounds like what you want to hear.

Hi Burr,

We have some HyperShot Pro and HyperMove Pro licenses...
The existing (Hyper)Shot UI is awesome, and I want no colored & shiny buttons.

The iray®...technology -> was developed, among others -> ...Wann Jensen ;-)

Please take a look:
http://www.keyshot.com

But let's see what will bring the future, hopefully not only advertising and striking sayings:
"Blow the competition out of the water ....Comming soon..."

Worldwide customers want facts and not U.S. advertising :)

Arion render.

I have tried an Hypershot demo once, years ago. If I remember well it use CPU not GPU. It' that correct?
What about Keyshot? I make the subscription but actually I didn't receive the email for the demo download.

Because the other render engine (Octane and the next Arion render) need CUDA, and unfortunatly I need to buy another computer. My macbook with 9400M is simply not enough fast.

I want to have one render engine for use straight after Moi. Not passing from Max or C4D....
My last chance is Keyshot, but the price seem way to high for me.

Hi falcon76,

HyperShot up to V 1.9 and KeyShot is a CPU app.
The new "Comming soon Shot" (Bunkspeed) is a CPU / GPU app.

Please take a look: 3D Paintbrush ( 99,- €)
http://www.3dpaintbrush.com/
(Free 15-day evaluation)
Works great with MOI => (Import: *.step/*.iges/*.3dm/*.3ds/*.skp/*.obj...)

Worldwide customers want US products.

Here is a quote from Jensen:

>>>>>”BUNKSPEED is changing the way images are being created from digital models”, said Dr.
Jensen. “This has tremendous value for many industries. I am excited to be part of such a
committed and dedicated team and help architect next generation visualization solutions that
continue to have a big impact in the industry”.
>>>>>>>>>>

Bunkspeed now teamed up with Mental Images.....Nvidia.......

Not just repackaging (us marketing?) something old???? Some bug fixes??????

Perhaps Ralf, you should start a keyshot thread for yourself.

Here is the famous quote from Bunkspeed: Comming soon...

But here is the Moi3D forum, if you want we can
continue the discussion via PM.

Actually I do realise this is the MoI forum. I also realize that in the Bunkspeed emerges thread, you continue to post up about keyshot and jensen. It makes me wish I didnt post it in the first place.

I understand that you think Bunkspeed is not the producer. I disagree though. That is not my experience.

I am looking forward to the Next generation of BunkSpeed/Mental Images.

Have you realized,

- we own several HyperShot Pro and Pro HyperMove licenses,
- sold the software as a Reseller,

I know what I'm talking, the Software/concept/UI is great!

But both companies should stop the stupid promises,
and inform customers properly.

Currently it does not happen, that's for sure, whether you laugh or not.

Hello,

While the conversation is 3D relevant how difficult would it be to create a section on the MoI site for other 3D applications, or better yet, 3D applications that demonstrate good interoperability with MoI? I know I would appreciate these companies contacting me and demonstrating interoperability if their products would be discussed on the site. What company will be first to pony up and demonstrate a good bridge between MoI and their product?
