3D Curve length measurement tool

I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there any way to analyze a 3D curve to determine it's entire length throughout the curve in MoI? If not, does anyone know of any freeware that I can use to import the 3D curve into to analyze it?

Hi Michael T - it's possible to calculate the length of a curve in MoI by using a script. Please see this previous post:

In the future I do want to have functions like this in a regular piece of UI but I have not yet had time to design that UI yet.

You may be right becuase to measure the length of the curve is so complicated!
