Ahaha amazing article by Cnet here :)

I still want MoI 3D for OSX (hire some designers and programmers and raise the price please)

MoI 3D is actually the only windows software that make me reboot into XP on my macbook pro :(
(yes I waste 32gb of space for your software)

Hi DesuDeus, well I am glad that you like MoI enough to do that! :)

Have you tried using Parallels or VMWare to run MoI directly inside of OSX rather than rebooting? I think that there is a way you can have Parallels use your Boot Camp partition directly which may be convenient since you already have that set up.

Some info on that here:

DesuDeus,

36GB? Isn't that like 10$ now? :) If I were on Mac and I would spend the space to run Moi, too!!

BTW DesuDeus: VMWare works really well. I'm using MBP and can run MOI and ZBrush through VM. From what I understand you get a greater process reduction with Parallels. IMHO.

Modbooks can be had for a slightly reduced price here:

I've considered it myself, but will probably have to settle for a used Motion Computer LE1600.

I have a LE1600 and it's great, the optimization for pen input is well done and have no lag when writing or drawing.

It could be interesting if you find one with an extended battery , it's relatively small and you can run for 6+hours.
But then again you never know with batteries on ebay.

The screen is best of class for tablet pc, Hidys screens are as good as Ips.
When viewing at angles, only the brightness fades and your color does not start to shift to green or red.

A very tough machine overall.
