Modo - object centered pivots

Hi Michael,

Is it possible to have an option in a future BETA / version that allows a choice in the options dialogue to centre the pivot on an objects centre in the LWO format? This helps in moving / rotating objects once imported into Modo?

There are 'action center' option once in Modo that with a predetermined object centre would be a big help.

I thought it was already doing this - when writing an LWO file, polygons get added under a "Layer" entity and the Mesh layer has a pivot point which MoI should be setting to the center of the bounding box of that mesh.

Are you seeing the pivot placed in some other location than that? If so where?

Hi Matt,

What problems are you having rotating in modo? I am not having any issues rotating things. Could you post an example file and screen shots?
