Yes Moi is great. I love it to model with no reference. In this case with no correct norm values (wheel nut ). The hardest part was to find a way to bend the center of this wheel. I've project the curve on a sphere and cut the lines. I didn't find an other way. My first try to select the point and move them down was not bad but I couldn't extrude the curve with caps. My test below.

Possible for the center hub, some kind of revolve of a profile curve.

Hi Apophis,

In the one i am working on i started from a cylinder and using some boolean operation then fillet on the line selection.

Revolve will do the trick for the curvature. The bar in the wheel was made with sweep 2 rails.

This is another test i did with a plain sphere and cylinder with the boolean and fillet operation

Have you ever seen this one in Rhino http://www.toxiclab.org/tutorial.asp?ID=124

I found that Rhino3d has good tutorial for making a car. I registered on there web site (it is free) and you can download the tutorial parts. the one about the rim should help you out. http://www.rhino3d.tv/english/info/accessdenied.php

Don't need to be sorry Apophis, better 1 thread of the same subject then multiple with the same subject, easier to follow.

And yes you are a gentleman, you are showing your work. :)

that is much better, did you fillet the lien around the hole for the bolt?

yes the lines around the hole for the bolts was rounded.
i've found a mistake. the outlines from the centerwheel should be rounded.
this could be a really tricky place to clean ist. :-)
