Hi Pilou, MoI's display engine does not currently support transparency for regular objects.

It is supported for background images though - if you go to the View / Image command, you can adjust the Transparency option there.

I would like to add transparency into MoI into more areas in the future but currently there is not any setting for it in moi.ini to apply it to objects.

There is a "hidden line" display mode which lets you see hidden lines displayed in a faint dashed style.

That lets you see a kind of "xray" of edges - to enable that go to the View palette, and there is a checkbox here:

Yes that what that! A tricky faint :)
I believed that was in the Options / General dialog and don't find it!
Maybe must be in General Options or View?

Hi Pilou, well it is actually in both!

In the Options dialog, it is with the rest of the viewport-related options under Options > View:



I put it additionally into the View side pane palette to make for quicker access if you wanted to turn it on or off repeatedly while modeling.
