hi,

I'm installed lastest build of moi 2.0 beta.

When I use a previous version, if I want unhide some object or spline, I could select it one by one.

But now with newer build, I can't doing that. All objects are unhided automatically.

I just want to unhide only one object or spline.

how can I unhide only one?

Hi Jeongho,

That's still possible by doing a Ctrl+click on the Hide button.

That will do a "show subset" where you get a chance to see all hidden objects and you can pick only some of them (or one of them) to show instead of all of them.

This was changed in MoI v2 because too many people found doing that "Pick which objects to show" method by default to be confusing.

So now the default is to show everything on a simple left click, but use Ctrl+click to do the old behavior.

In v2 there is also a new "Isolate" function available by right-click on the Hide button. That hides everything else except the selected objects. A second right-click later on will restore the previous state before the isolate.

Thanks as well. I didn't read that before about cntrl click. The new Hide was driving me bonkers as all of sudden a gazillion curves and hidden objects appeared all over my scene which was immediately followed by much clicking and hiding again.

I should have paid closer attention.

As always Michael, thanks for such awesome software and great support.

Yeah this particular thing (change to how the unhide works) is probably the biggest behavior change of the UI between MoI v1 and MoI v2.

But it needed to be done, with the other method as the default I just got too many questions from people who were confused, they'd say things like "all my regular objects disappeared for a moment and then came back again, what's going on?".

It was just a bit too ambitious to make that "show subset" functionality be the default behavior.

The new Isolate function on right-click is also quite useful as well.
