Wish: progressbar for loading files

Hello,

today I tried to open some big STEP/IGES files and I missed a progressbar that show me, that the loading process is working and how much is loaded. Some times, if the file contain geometry errors, the load process needs for ever. I hope a progressbar would show me, that the loading process hangs.
