Start with V1 or V2 beta?

Hi, there,

I bought V1 some time ago but am just now starting to use it.

Would it be a good idea to go right to the V2 beta instead of trying to learn on V1?

The reason I ask is that I know that Beta's often go through changes and as a newbie it might be tough enough to grasp the initial concept. The possiblity of then having it change seems to be putting a damper in my enthusiasm to use the V2 beta...

But then, knowing that V1 is limited (in context) is putting an equal damper on moving forward. (What's a boy to do?!)

So, with the intent of moving forward anyway, can someone recommend a good learning path here?

Thanks a lot, and sorry for such a newbie-like question.

Hi Paul, like Anis mentions above the video tutorials are probably the best starting point.

Watch them through a couple of times and then maybe see if you can follow along the steps to create each object.

That should give you a good overview on how to construct models.

I'd recommend going right to v2 really - you shouldn't have any problems following the v1 tutorials in the v2 beta, and there is quite a lot of stuff that helps out with basic things, like the new edit frame.
