Just wondering if you have had any thoughts on creating other mesh types, for particular use with FEA? hex, tet, and tri meshing. (I know it's a bit off your target, just poking around)
Hi Burr, I don't really have much experience in working with those kinds of FEA meshes so it doesn't seem like it would be very feasible for me to tackle that anytime soon.
Much of the time with CAD packages, that kind of FEA data connection is done by a 3rd party plugin from some company that has more experience in that particular field.
It's probably not really one of those things where the current mesher would just be tweaked or something, I think it would require a whole different approach.
