sweep oddities

When sweeping a polyline curve I get 2 separate shapes instead of 1 continuous form. On the other hand, a freeform curve yields one shape. Is there a way to get one continuous shape when sweeping a polyline (giving me hard corners) without using the flat twist option (since I want the shape of the sweep to follow the direction of the curve?

Hi Tree, right now there is not any automatic way to get mitered corners on a sweep like that but it is an area that I am going to be working on shortly to improve in version 2.

Currently you have to do a kind of manual extension and cutting to build the corners in a situation like that, there is a description of that process in these other threads:
