There actually won't be any time in between - I'll be releasing a new beta that will have the expiration date bumped forward some more so that there will be something like at least a month overlap between the v2 final release and the expiration of the last v2 beta.

So if your currently installed v2 beta expires before the final v2 release, there will be a newer v2 beta that you can download to keep working in v2.

When the v2 final is out, there will be an upgrade license available for v1 owners to be able to get v2 at a reduced price.


And yes, there is so much improved stuff in v2 that you'll likely want to be using it instead of v1. There is a collection of all the v2 release notes going over all the new stuff here:

Well, after coming back from Hawaii, I realised that because you guys are 20 hrs behind us in Oz, I could never win, so if V2 comes out on a Sunday afternoon, it'll be Monday over here ;)

Maybe Swatch internet time would correct that, but it seems it was inaccurate and dropped, oh well.....sigh!
