Hello Michael, hello all,
This is Rudy.
I came back last night and since I was not working on my computer for two weeks, it ask for updates. Most notably, I installed internet explorer 8, new adobe flash and new Java.
Today, as I am starting working with MOI 1.0, I see it does not work properly. I cannot complete any function...

Is this because explorer 8?

Any advice is helpful.
Thanks,
Rudy

Hi Rudy,

Please have look:
http://moi3d.com/download.htm
There is a new version/update for v1 to enable running with IE8 and various bug fixes.

Hi NightCabbage - yes all the non-3D UI part like buttons, etc... actually come from HTML files. You can actually see the files for them in the \ui subfolder inside of MoI's main installation folder.

MoI uses the HTML engine of IE (called mshtml.dll) to display all that stuff.

It's actually pretty cool :)

I didn't even guess.

How did you get the actual interface rendered as it is?

Hi NightCabbage,

Do you mean the various buttons and things like that?

There are custom controls for that, but most of the stuff comes from image files, if you look in the \ui subfolder you can see a bunch of .png files in there that are used to draw various parts of the UI.
