Hi
I'd just like to thank michael for this great software, I've had it for a while but havn't spent any time trying to make anything worth sharing yet.

I'm a beginner with 3D in general. In september i'll be going to university to study product design so I thought now is probably a good time to try and learn some nurbs.

It's rendered in modo, not a particularly good design for a robot ( it doesn't really have a purpose ) but I thought I would share my first mini project and it would be nice to hear your thoughts.

by the way that reflection is a kitchen, perhaps a poor choice of hdr :)

Ney Bazo,
Nice robot! The hdr makes it appear he is sitting on a train going to Venice from Milan! (possibly passing the marble quaries)

I too like the design. But the HDR does spoil the effect a bit - unless he is a kitchen cleaning robot :-)

Nonetheless, cool stuff. Keep em coming.

Regards

Cheers for the comments, someone else has commented on it saying it looks like a clothes dryer
and i'd have to agree with them :)

I need to change the hdr and possibly attempt to model some arms and maybe extend the head. Shouldn't take too long using moi.
