what would be the best way to model this in MOI?

i'm sorry if this is a beginner question.
i was one of the first here to buy MOI.
unfortunately, i just haven't had time to learn it yet.
too much work, not enough free time. :(

i'd like to avoid the shame of buying a 3D model from the internet for something that looks so simple. ;)

now, i got the shape easily done from the top view.
extruding and filleting the whole thing looks decent but not exactly the look i'm after.

Hi madmanmoon, probably Construct / Revolve / Rail revolve would be the easiest way to build that.

Check out this previous post for an example:

I've attached an example model - to produce the shape, you select the vertical profile curve, run Construct / Revolve / Rail revolve, then pick the bottom outline as the rail, then the revolve axis is from the end of the first profile downwards.

That basically revolves that profile but squishes it to conform to that bottom outline.
