I can't figure out why Firefox keeps getting hung up when i try to post a reply on this forum. It happens nearly every time. So i need to copy my text, back out, click reply again, quickly paste my text and then it sends quickly as expected. I noticed this has also been happening (but less often) on the Luxology/Modo forums. Any idea why? Other forums seem to be OK...

Could it be virus checker or firewall related?

probably is my antivirus. but i have no idea how to make it ignore certain things like this...

Which firewall/AV are you using? I will check.

(Problems as you mention are normally due to inbuilt web scanners, there is usually an area in the firewall/Av where a site can be set as trusted.)

Yes I guess anti-virus interfering or something going wrong with your Internet connection would be likely.

Sorry, I don't really have any idea what I could do on the server side to help.

If other people are running into it maybe I will be able to figure out a pattern though.

Yeah, it happens to me once in awhile during peak hour traffic :) , like when there are few topics going on and people are posting at the same time I find I get 'hang', but I let it go and it eventually sends, sometimes I stop it and send it 5 or 10 minutes later and it's instant.

That's my guess.
