Hi all

I though I would share something im working on. just made to test out workflows using MOI, spaceclaim and hypershot. bit of photochop as well.
You can copy paster from MOI into spaceclaim which is great. would be nice to be able to do it back like the rhino plugin.

Jamie

Hi

Thanks for the feedback, the creature is some kind of grub. I wanted something that would be kind of unpleasant.

Another image for you to send you off to the weekend. slightly wetter looking (going to have to get to work on something more beautiful next to counter balance) Have a great weekend!!

Jamie

Hi Jamie, I'm just glad it is not a cafeteria tray! :)

All the details on the instruments look great, and definitely a big contrast with the grub.

This is a great model. I love the contrast between the clean, sterile instruments and the rather disgusting specimen. I like the wetter version of the grub best, I would like to see one of the close-ups with the wet grub.

Great stuff.

Hehe... This is a cool image and especially i like that the tray looks so much like the ones from a school cafeteria. Reminds me of the movie Existenz, when they ordered the "special"... ICK!!! I've watched tons of disgusting movies, but that one scene really made me cringe while they were eating it. Just as it happened when I saw this last image of your "grub special". It seems you've achieved the desired effect! Well done! :)

Hi

Thanks for the feedback, good to know the effect worked.

I remember "Existenz" a mad film. would mind seeing it again though. will have to look out for it.

Im playing with volumetric sculpting in 3d coat at the moment. amazing technology but in need of a UI makeover by Michael. There are so many commands. many hidden and a lot of new jargon to learn.
