No, the video memory is actually separate from that.

It's harder to find out what is happening with video memory, it is often controlled more privately by the video driver rather than being controlled directly by Windows like system memory.

hi,

yesterday i restarted my computer two times but nothing changed. today everything is fine. i'm back to my old performance and working with MoI is no problem anymore.
i don't know what happens yesterday.

Hi jan, well I'm glad that it is better now!

That is pretty mysterious though.

Did you possibly have some hot weather the past few days? Maybe your machine was getting overheated.

You might take look to see if it is clogged up with a lot of dust, or if any fans inside of it have stopped working, or if it is pushed too close up against a wall where there may not be enough space to have good airflow coming out of the case... Just a possible thought.

Was this a laptop or are there any performance settings involved?

Typically a laptop will reduce its CPU performance when you unplug the power supply to conserve battery power - plug the supply back in and the CPU will go back to full performance again - just a thought...

Also make sure your MoI View options has the "Add details to inflections" turned off - that can really slow down your display performance.
