cheers guys. Yeah i can't wait to sink my teeth into the beta, and of course the 2.0 actual release. it's hard without layers lol.
i used hypershot pro for the renderings. :)

Hi Shane, yeah if you like v1 you're definitely going to like v2 a whole lot more...

Also it's a lot smoother to export to Hypershot in v2 since you can assign styles to different objects or faces (kinda like layers) and then those will go through as material assignments when you open the OBJ file up in Hypershot.

I'm not sure i can take screen captures from within MOI anymore because the trail has now expired. May have to wait until i get my seat for that one....
the figure isn't in 3d though. i've never found a decent one for free that looks ok. that one is just a stock adobe illustrator vector i dropped in. (hence no shadow).
the ability to assign colours like you mention will be real handy me... i had to open the model in rhino to assign colours for hypershot this time round :P

Great images, I liked the rendering style. Using a matte paint was unexpected.
