I'm always amazed at how you keep the beta's coming with so many changes that dont break all the old custom commands and scripts.

I download the new installer and install it, then copy my custom commands folder over to the new install dir (Except for the UI sidepane I have edited, I just re-insert the code for that so I dont break the new sidepane.htm) and presto!!! All my stuff.

It takes about 6 minutes! And only a 10 meg installer. On my thumb drive it goes.

Yeah I'm pretty careful to avoid altering already existing script properties and methods, to keep compatability. So far so good... :)

burrman can i see a grab of your sidepane, there was one before that had the items in the panel open all the time like the transform and construct one on top of the other and i wish i could have it again. so basically im hoping this is what you have done :)

All I've done is add an Icon for my plugin Gallery. I dont think thats what your after. I think Ash is the resident UI guy, that may be able to direct a bit.

If you still want to see my icon addition, let me know and I'll post it.

If you mean this V1 interface http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=1521.1 then yes, this was me. However I haven't kept it up to date for the V2 stuff. I did try but after the second beta I decided it was too much work to re-create it each time a new beta came out.

I hope to do the same (or similar anyway) for the final V2.

PS: currently on holiday in the Northwest of Scotland. I'm typing this in a Bed And Breakfast in the village of Lochcarron. So I may not reply to any posts very quickly :-)

Hi everyone, back from hols now. We had a great time but was way too hot for me, was really hoping to get some walking in but went out on Saturday afternoon and had to come back after only 45 mins! Then I came out in a heat rash. So spent the rest of the holiday touring around in the car - thank goodness for air conditioning. We're just not used to these temperatures here in Scotland. We took jumpers, waterproof overtrousers, cagoules, even an umbrella and never used them :-)

Dave, I'll try and find the time to re-do my interface after the V2 release. Trouble is we'll all be using V3 betas by then and be back to square one ;-)
