MOI (1.0 and 2.0) can't open the attached 3dm file created in Rhino 4.0.

Hi Al, could you please try e-mailing it to me at moi@moi3d.com ?

Or possibly you may need to use one of those file sharing services, like http://skydrive.live.com/

One thing to note is that MoI does not read Mesh entities out of a 3DM file, it only reads in NURBS entities.

So for example if your file contains only a bunch of mesh entities in it, then that is normal that those would not come in to MoI.

Hi Al, thanks - I received the file through e-mail.

The reason it doesn't come in is because all your objects in the model are made up of block instances, which MoI does not currently read.

You'll need to explode your blocks into regular geometry, then MoI will be able to see them when loading the file.

Also it looks like you've got some blocks-within-blocks, those will need to be exploded multiple times or I think there is some "SuperExplodeBlock" utility that you can use for that in Rhino as well.
