Hi Michael T.

Not currently, but for the next v2 beta I have set up a new .getLength() method that scripts can call to determine a curve's length.

That will make it possible in the next v2 beta to have a keyboard shortcut that will calculate the length of the selected curves and puts the value into the clipboard.

At some point in the future there will be a more proper UI for doing it. But the script method will be able to get the basic job done in the next v2 beta.

Thanks BurrMan, and thanks Michael G.

Any thoughts on the release date of the next V2 Beta?

Hi Mictu,

I am also waiting for the next beta. The development time for V2 is almost 1. 5 year now.

Hard to say exactly... Anytime I make a guess it turns out wrong.

But it is getting pretty close, I just want to tune up a few more things related to styles first.

Yes, I certainly wish it would not take so long.

But unfortunately it can often take me additional time to do a careful job and avoid making a lot of bugs and crash problems.

Do you think it would be better to have things released sooner but with more bugs and crashes in them? That would basically be the trade off.

Michael, the quality is worth the wait. The amount of teaching that you do in the forums along with the supurb product is fantastic. It makes MOI3D an awesome package. We, the users, just want more and more because of how great every iteration is. We have an infinite capacity for MOI betas so don't be pressured.

""better to have things released sooner but with more bugs and crashes in them?""

This seems to be the general consensus in the era we live. :^)
