Hi Michael,
MoI is a pleasure to use as it is masterly designed. I love the simplicity of it...
I have the demo version 1.1 I believe and I want to buy it but I was wondering if I should wait until the release of version 2. Do you have any idea when the official v2 release will be?
Thank you,
Wayne

Wayne,

Drop me a pm. I have V1 that I no longer use and I would be happy to sell you my license at a great price, the license can be transfered as I have already cleared it with Micheal ?

Hope to hear from you.

Rgds,
--Paul--

Hi Wayne, I'm glad that you like MoI!

I don't have it totally nailed down yet, but I think that the v2 release will be sometime in June or July.

There isn't really anything to be gained by waiting, since there will be an upgrade license available to v1 owners.

The base price of v2 will be $295 USD, and the cost of v1 is $195, and the v2 upgrade will be $100, so it is the same total price whether waiting or not.

Oh yeah - check out here: http://kyticka.webzdarma.cz/3d/moi/doc/V2releasenotes.html for a collected list of all the release notes on what is new so far for v2, there is quite a bit of new stuff in there! :)

Pleased.

$ 195 for a good piece of software and $ 100 for an upgrade is relly a fair price.
Nothing comparable for this price, performance, functionality and development.

Greetings from Bavaria

Hi podperson,

> What will the story be for academic licenses?

I'm not quite sure yet exactly how that will work as far as the specific prices.

But I do expect to have an academic v1-to-v2 upgrade available, in addition to an academic "full v2" version.
