The curves and edges in MOI are all beautifully anti-aliased, but if you hide these it becomes really obvious that the edges of solids don't get anti-aliasing.

It's not really important, but I just thought it would be nice if solids displayed smoothly as well. :)

Hi LOTRJ, I'd like to add some control for that in the future, but it is a little more complicated than just turning it on all the time because it consumes more memory and older cards can't handle it very well.

So it would need some kind of settings for turning it on or off, and I'd need to test it pretty extensively with a variety of cards. Those are basically the reasons why I haven't done it yet.
