I second this motion. IGES export would be good for porting my models into 3DS Max, which I use for rendering.

Definitely IGES export is planned for V1. But it might be a couple of months before it is added in though.

I vote for IGES export...

I've been modeling NURBS more than 10 years (with Alias, then PowerAnimator, then Studiotools), and i love the easyness MoI gives us to quickly model NURBS...

Of course i vopte for IGES support, 'till i don't have Rhino3D ;-)

Keep on going, it is very promising !


I'm also co-founder of Pole3D (www.pole3d.net), a CG highschool in France where i teach 2D & 3D, and where i'm in charge also of soft/hardware choice, installation and managment...
MoI3d could be a good piece of soft to make our students learn NURBS without getting crazy against 3dsMAX or Maya... NURBS are very important for all students that prepare themselves to work on the design / cad market...

Will see v1 for evaluation asap...
