Exellent modelling and lighting Rich. My only crit is that the dark blue rubber is too over saturated / dominating / flat, if you catch my drift.

Cool product presentation Rich, nice render.
The only thing, the horizontal grips look a bit out of center in the first front view, otherwise nice job.

Cheers

Thanks guys.

I Agree with you. The blue color is a bit to much and the blue part is slightly of center.
O well I'm having fun with the demo. I think I'll get myself a copy. It exports very well to C4D.

Peace,
Rich_Art. ;)

Hi Rich Art.
Great model.
Nice to see you here too.

I bumped onto this Moi demo about week ago and have modeled
some items like water bottles.

It´s very intuitive and fast to use.

Hi Rich_Art, that looks really great!

Yeah, MoI works well in combination with Cinema4D, data tends to go from MoI into there quite smoothly.

Also since MoI has a much different overall modeling strategy than polygon modeling (for example, booleans are a primary method of work in MoI, while in polygon modeling they are usually best to avoid), it can be a pretty nice complementary tool.

Basically if you have something that is more mechanical or manufactured, which has a lot of cut out pieces in it then those are natural (and very fast!) to do in MoI. If you have things that are less structured in nature and more fully organic like a monster head or character model, then those are the kinds of things that tend to work better in polygons instead.
