Cannot offset surface

I cannot offset or shell this surface .
I have been able to do it successfully in Rhino though.

I guess scaling with the copy option works, but will that surface offset correctly with the offset command?

Hi Niko, this one is fixed in the next v2 beta release which I think will be ready tomorrow.

There is a pretty major fix for surface offsetting coming with this next release.
