< the feature of Rhino to use a background image, and then.....-the trick-....--> select the curves --> ctrl+c --> MoI --> ctrl+v
I suppose that is not automatic?
You must redraw the lines ? yes?

Maybe this free one can help you for this if Rhino accept some vectorial importation :)

Hi David,

I don't think so that Rhino's evaluation version can use clipboard (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V). So how you have managed to export elements from Rhino via clipboard? Perhaps, you have the ability to work magic or you are clever with your sticky-fingered hands.... hehe.

Petr

p.s. I have full version of Rhino V3 so it doesn't matter...but I am curious, if you are able to copy anything object, including polysurfaces.....

Hi tyglik:

I´m using now a full version of rhino, for the ctrl+c and ctrl+v. I didn´t know that itsn´t work in the evaluation copy. I though that it would be a good way for take the curves from blueprints in MoI without "spend" the number of saved files or if you can´t save more times in rhino :-)

About the rastering...I´ve never done it before, but I have seen a rasterized curves file and the curves are very complex, aren´t they? Maybe it is a problem for work with that curves.....what do you think? At the moment, the Pilou method of transparency is wining :-) because the laptop where is the full version of rhino isn´t of mine and is tedious to wait to take and use it.

Sorry for the wrong information :-)

Surely, but there is a couple of commands in Rhino to reconstruct complex curves - FitCrv, SimplifyCrv, Rebuild, MakePeriodic...on the other side, window transparency application is quite "chic" for MoI.
