I just released an update patch for version 1.0 on the web site download page (direct link here).

This installer will update an existing MoI 1.0 installation to version 1.1 .

The biggest reason to update is that v1.1 works fine if Internet Explorer 8 is installed, while version 1.0 does not.

There are also a few other bug fixes though, so if you use v1 a bunch I would recommend applying the update.

THe only thing I've been worried about is I dont use V1 anymore and if michael doesnt get an update out soon enough your V2 will quit working! You would have to reinstall V1! :(

Yes, all those fixes have already been included for the current v2 beta.

The patch is only for updating the original 1.0 release to have some of the same fixes that version 2.0 already has.

Hi Burr, well the current v2 beta doesn't expire until the 21st, so no need to panic quite yet. ;)

My only worry is if you get hit by a milk truck while ajusting the MoI statue in your front yard, we'll all be (%^% out of luck. Please make provisions with Ms. Gibson to unlock all our betas to the final "Memorial MoI version" if this truck should happen your way! :O

Thanks for this update.

I assume that you've also updated the "No Save-MoI Free Viewer" version?
It's just that I've recommended this MoI version to a few of my customers to download, so as to view files I send them.

I've got no idea if they'll be running the IE8 & I don't really want to become their "Computer Tech" because of this download.

Hi Colin, yup both trial versions (including that "nosave" one) have been updated as well, so they will work fine with IE8 now.
