2507.2 In reply to 2507.1 Extrude it? Move it? Copy it?.... Depend of the nature of the base bottom cylinder

2507.3 In reply to 2507.2 @Pilou: C'est amusant que ce soit toi qui me réponde aussitôt :) Note for all: Frenchy Pilou is 'the french MOI evangelist' and I discover MOI after reading his (thousand of) post about in other 3D forum. Explain 'Extrude it' please... Edit: I can extrude circle but need many op. to clean the solide (delete old face, extrude, join, ...) or im missing something simplier? EDITED: 23 Mar 2009 by YCARRY

2507.6 In reply to 2507.5 Paq: << face extrude [cap end] then Union >> (keep english, mates, please ;) ) so i cant 'simply' move a face... like in Shark or Rhino Here Wenatchee(Rhino4) on Mac: "move a face" option -> select, move. that is. Suppose object is a watch corps... Laptop on knees in client cabinet: Client: "Okay, move this face 0.1 mm up and I validate... .iges file must be in HK in 2min."* *real! Attachments:

2507.8 In reply to 2507.6 Hi ycarry, No you can't simply move a face like that. (if it's part of a solid) I suspect rhino or shark are in fact doing the whole 'extrude-boolean union' as a combo, making you thing you're just moving a face. Michael will probably give a better answer soon ;)
